Kent's Foundation

Kent's Foundation for Child Life is a not-for-profit benefiting the Child Life program at Children's National Medical Center, which is a specialized program that helps children and their families cope with the stresses associated with illness, injury and hospitalization. The foundation's goal is to ensure that other children have this experience by raising funds to endow additional Child Life counselors.

Mission

Kent's Foundation for Child Life was founded by Elissa and Rich Morrison after their son Kent became a patient at Children's National Medical Center, and benefited from the Child Life program, a specialized program that helps children and their families cope with the stresses associated with illness, injury and hospitalization.
